My parents never took me to Chuck E Cheese (at that time it was Showbiz Pizza, but that the mechanical rats were still singing). Great post and you're a great dad for going through the punishment. Of course, perhaps the biggest punishment is being forced to eat their pizza, which is similar consistency to greasy cardboard with stale cheese. My wife and I are expecting our first in March...
